Brighton's Neighborhood Laundromat

A New Chapter at a Familiar Address

If you've lived in Brighton for a while, you know 142-144 Tremont Street. For years, this corner was home to Mondy's Dry Cleaning — a neighborhood staple that served the community for decades. When Mondy's closed its doors, we saw an opportunity to carry that legacy forward and build something even better.

Loadz Laundry & Dry Cleaning was born right here, in the same space, with the same commitment to the Brighton and Allston community. We kept the spirit of what made this location special — a trusted, local spot where neighbors take care of neighbors — and added modern services, fair pricing, and a team that genuinely cares.

Today we offer wash & fold, dry cleaning, sneaker cleaning, pickup & delivery, and monthly memberships — all under one roof, 7 days a week. Whether you're a longtime Brighton resident, a BU or BC student, or new to the neighborhood, Loadz is your laundry home.

Rooted in Brighton & Allston

We're not a chain. We're a local business that lives and works in the same neighborhoods as our customers — Brighton, Allston, and the surrounding Boston communities. That means we care about getting it right, not just getting it done.

From our membership plans designed to save Boston families money every month, to our student discount for BU, BC, and local college students, to our commercial laundry service for local restaurants, gyms, and Airbnbs — everything we offer is built around the real needs of this community.
